No Roof Left Behind 2016

Last summer, 68-year old Wichita resident Robie was facing an uphill battle with brain cancer and was unable to do his usual routine of doing home repairs for others, cooking and caring for the ill in their homes and driving them wherever they needed to go. His illness also made it impossible for him to do maintenance on his home and he had to resort to using buckets to catch the water leaking in through his roof.

That’s when the community stepped in and nominated him for the 2015 No Roof Left Behind program, and after winning the most votes Robie received a new roof free of charge from All Seasons Construction.

All Seasons is proud to be involved in the No Roof Left Behind program again this year after a great experience helping Robie last year. This year we aim to help another family in need and we need your nominations and votes to make it happen.

No Roof Left Behind is a nationwide program started in 2009 to give communities a chance to help their neighbors who have fallen on hard times by providing local contractors the framework to install a new roof for a deserving homeowner free of charge. Nominations for this year’s finalists begin on July 1 and end August 17.

After all the nominations are in, finalists for the free roof installation will be announced on September 1, and that’s when voting begins for this year’s winner. You’ll have two weeks, until September 14, to vote for the winner so tell your family and friends to cast their votes for this year’s most deserving candidate. This year’s winner will be announced on Oct. 3.

Tell us why this person deserves a new roof and provide a few details about their home for consideration. You can even upload up to four images with your submission, so take a picture of the nominee’s current roof and any other relevant images and include them.
